Follow these steps to change the email address associated with your account.
Enter your email address at https://ID.iowa.gov.
Click the "Next" button.
Enter your password.
Click the "Verify" button.
NOTE: If you selected to add an authentication method, you will follow the prompts provided.
Click your name in the upper right hand corner.
Select Settings.
Go to Personal Information.
Click the "Edit" button.
Enter your new email address in the primary email field.
Click the “Save” button.
Check your email to to confirm email change (Admin@ID.iowa.gov no-reply@id.iowa.gov)
Click the "Confirm Email Change" button.
Enter your previous email address at https://ID.iowa.gov.
Click the "Next" button.
Enter your password.
Click the "Verify" button.
Email Change Confirmed screen will appear "You have successfully changed your primary email address from previous email address to new email address."
When you sign into https://ID.iowa.gov from now on, use your original email address. This is your username.
NOTE: Any correspondence or notifications will be sent to your new email address.
